How We Vet | FSSAI certified, Lab Tested and Traceability | Kisan Bahadur

We are one of the only food brands in India that can verify what they sell.

In a market flooded with fake organic labels and misleading claims, Kisan Bahadur was built on one principle meaning if we cannot verify it ourselves, we do not sell it.

Every product we make passes through the same rigorous process, whether it comes from our own 300+ acres across Rajasthan, Punjab and Haryana, or from our personally vetted Bahadur Growing Network.

Our  Vetting Process

1. Farmer Background Check
Every farmer we work with undergoes a thorough background check where we verify land ownership, farming history and prior certifications.

2. On-Site Farm Visit
Our in-house team physically visits every farm before onboarding. No farm enters our network without a direct site inspection by someone from the Kisan Bahadur team.

3. Quality Inspection on Arrival
When produce arrives at our facility it undergoes a second round of quality inspection of all visual, sensory and chemical. Rejected batches are returned, not repurposed.

6. Ongoing Relationship Audit
We conduct regular revisits, seasonal checks and audits on all farms. Most of our farmer relationships span over 30 years and that trust is never taken for granted.

What We Test For

Adulteration markers of  vegetable oil mixing in ghee, sugar syrup in honey, solvent traces in oils
Pesticide residue of  multi-residue screening on all incoming produce
Microbial safety such as  harmful bacteria, yeast and mould counts
Nutritional accuracy is  verified to match what is on the label
Heavy metals such as lead, cadmium and arsenic screening on soil and produce

The Bahadur Growing Network

For the rare products we don’t grow ourselves, every supplier is part of our personally vetted Bahadur Growing Network with relationships built over decades, not found on a supplier directory. Most relationships span 30+ years.

“Three generations taught us that the land never lies. And neither do we.”
